scrollnames is free to use for personal and commercial purposes. Do not misuse the site: do not attempt to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, or scrape it in a way that harms other visitors.

Generated names

You may use generated names in your games, stories, videos, products and other projects without asking us or crediting us. Names are produced from word lists and may coincide with names that already exist. We do not guarantee that a name is unique, available as a trademark, domain or username, or free of third-party rights; check before you rely on it.

Our content

The site's design, guides, word lists and software are protected by copyright. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with attribution. Please do not republish our guides or word lists in bulk.

Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Other names and marks belong to their owners. scrollnames is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No warranty and limitation of liability
